It’s just the kids’ college fund.

FWIW, so far the QV’s seem to be holding value very well on the used market. So if needed you could probably sell it to refill the college fund somewhat.

$80k will buy a good 4-yr education for one of your children. Eventually they will turn it in to a career, then small fortune, then hopefully take care of you when you are old. The value of your investment will continue to grow.
$80k will also buy you a new Alfa Romeo, which will probably catch on fire within a year, and be worth about $12. It will be awesome before then, however.

Eh, those kids can send for themselves.

I’d be suspicious that a car which hasn’t been on the market for a year yet has a “healthy” used market. if I had Carfax lookups to burn I’d be curious to see how many of them are buybacks.

So the Alfa it is then, right?

Haha yeah the supply has been really restricted so used ones are going to be expensive until things even out. It has been a hit with reviewers and owners so a lot hinges on how many of those highly boosted Little’s engines explode in 2-3 years.

Meh, the kids will appreciate it more if they pay their own way, or spend 20 years paying off the loans

I’d buy the hell out of one of these if I could afford it.

If you buy a classic one you could call it an investment.

Yes and the classic Alfas are gorgeous cars too.

I want the blue, but with the black and red interior, but their stupid site doesn’t allow that...
